Head of Organic Growth Marketing

Location: Remote (US)

Circles is a start-up tech mental health app that provides online virtual group support for people going through life challenges. Circles enable people to be heard, understood, and supported by others who are going through the same issues in their lives, such as the loss of a loved one, parenting issues, or divorce. Groups are led by professional facilitators and community members who want to help others on their journey.

  • Lead organic growth and social media strategy, while rolling up sleeves and getting hands-on in the execution as needed
  • Identify opportunities for growth hacks that align with the company’s mission of bringing emotional health support to all communities in need
  • Work closely with marketing team and CEO/Founder to translate visions into campaigns, plan marketing calendars and project timelines
  • Integrate community and influencer partnerships into growth strategy, creating brand loyalty and amplification with campaigns
  • Live and breathe testing and design thinking: create informed hypotheses, build simple and executable prototypes, set measurable KPIs, and make clear decisions to pivot or iterate
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate mindfully with other departments as a cohesive unit 



  • 5+ years of relevant (start-up app) marketing experience, specifically with organic growth. B2C required. Experience with helping companies scale from seed/A to B a plus.
  • Passion for coming up with creative (even disruptive!) ideas to push the needle on KPIs
  • Proven ability to distill complex ideas and hypotheses into simple and measurable tests, making informed decisions based on results
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and constantly evolving best practices
  • Record of building and engaging audiences on social platforms. Community management experience a plus
  • Ability to analyze and present data points to show growth in clear and engaging ways
  • Location:  NY or tri-state area preferred.  This is a remote role but will occasionally require being in NYC.

  • Passion for mental / emotional health and access to underserved communities a plus.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000
